The 2 Minute Warning

The 2 Minute Warning will be a weekly segment where I give quick, one or two sentence opinions about that week's headlines or stories. So let's get started:

*Adrian Beltre continues to show that he should have been named to the 2013 American League All Star roster by going 4-4 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI in a Rangers 8-4 win on Tuesday night over the Baltimore Orioles. To all who voted and left him off the roster, I say "Y'ALL ARE MORONS!!!"

*The Dallas Mavericks have signed Wayne Ellington to a 2-year, $5 million deal. My thought: Who is Wayne Ellington? Exactly...no one cares. Mark Cuban failed again.

*The Dallas Cowboys start training camp on July 21st. I say it can't get here quick enough. LET'S GO COWBOYS!!!

*New Dallas Star Tyler Seguin apologized for his anti-gay slur on Twitter at his induction press conference this past week. He claims his account was hacked. I say until proven otherwise, we should take the guy at his word. As long as no more real problems occur from here on out, no harm no foul.

*Manny Ramirez is showing he still has it since signing with the Texas Rangers on a minor league contract. Bring him up and let's see what he's got left in the tank at the Major League level. Can't be any worse than Lance "Paw Paw Time" Berkman.

So there you have it. The first ever 2 Minute Warning. Will do more of these in the weeks to come.
